To the few friends who've been horrified when I've said I'm not voting in the upcoming US election - hi - I'm not a US citizen and nor is 93% of the rest of the world's population.

There's a world outside of the US and yes, we're all watching and yes, this is an important election. But you're one of 337 million people in a country, yet one of 8 billion people on the planet.

We can't all vote.
