Where that's infrastructure things, monitoring, or management and communications, always trying to do better.
Very thankful to the folks who I've asked questions to & shadowed over the past few years, but especially this year.

Like this year I've learned about:
- AWS accounts / IAM
- kubernetes & helm
- terraform
- bare metal infrastructure (provisioning & system setup)
- more observability with prometheus & Honeycomb
- setting up prometheus scrapers
- a bit on non-profit management & tech leadership
- project management pitfallsProbably more too
-
Some of that has been shadowing the @hachyinfra team for a while, other parts working alongside @norbert on the IFTAS CCS project.
-
That's also not to say I didn't have vague knowledge of these things before.. I knew enough to be very dangerous but not really how it all tied together.

Oh! I also learned about authoring IETF internet drafts and W3C reports β hadn't really done that before this year either, but now I have
Still find it mind blowing that Bluesky adopted an internet draft I co-wrote before I think we'd even told anyone about it too much. They also beat me to implementation which I find hilarious!
