No judgement, but was wondering if folks still covid test regularly or if that's just not a done thing anymore?

(I'm a mix of weekly-ish tests + testing before + after events)
-
@jessie I have some tests still, but haven't felt the need to use them β I don't go out much, and if I am out & were to catch it, I'd probably know about it, as my immunisation is kinda old (I hadn't been allowed flu/covid boosters at my GP)
I'm going to hopefully get a shot in a few weeks, the earliest I can because I think I can use my recent heart surgery to place myself into a "risk group" that has access to shots.
-
@jessie I mask in doctors offices though, but didn't at hospital cardiology because I assumed no one would be stupid enough to go to a hospital specialist with COVID symptoms.
I've been told I can't get shots for 4 weeks whilst my heart heals a bit.

@thisismissem SWEETHEART I am so so sorry
-
@jessie it's okay, now my heart should be better, my anxiety has already lessened a bit (turns out AVNRT can contribute to elevated feelings of anxiety), and I'm recovering well and with lots of support.
It has been hard to take work off since September 10th though, but hopefully I'll be fully back at things by November 10th
