Found a place near me in downtown Monterey that specializes in ‘2 seafood tacos, with rice and beans on the side’ so I think it’ll be 80% of my meals here now

@skinnylatte may I just say that your dedication to tacos is an inspiration to us all 🫡

@skinnylatte I love this place because it’s vegan, but don’t be put off by that, it’s delicious for omnivores too: https://www.orderelcantaro.com
It’s about 2 blocks from the aquarium.It@

@johncormier this coworker and I are thinking of collaborating on more tacolicious things. Will be unstoppable.
-
@webuiltthiscity I go here often! It’s delicious

@skinnylatte @johncormier some day, eventually, I'll get to have another taco as good as the taco stand in the town where I previously lived had. Every time you post about tacos I think of them.

@skinnylatte I know it seems unlikely, but if you're ever in the Houston area, check out Habaneros Taco Company in Seabrook Texas. I recommend the fish tacos and the plantain tacos. Charro beans are free with purchase. I don't think you'll find any better tacos anywhere, though perhaps plenty that are as good.
They also make a spectacular habanero sauce, of course.
