I don't get that policy. If you earn money, you should pay taxes on it. Especially if it's a substantial part of your income.

@timrichards it’s the lower income group that disproportionately gets shafted on tips and taxes. They already pay far more in taxes and burdens compared to richer people. I support this but tips and taxes are a huge mess for all of the reasons stated
