@skinnylatte @elliots A “fractional CFO” is not an accountant, it’s a temp job in the C suite, often part time. Some small companies have nobody effective in the leadership roles but they can’t afford the full time salaries of those roles. It can honestly be called temp work, gig work, but that doesn’t sound fancy enough for these executive types.

@skinnylatte It’s like the “migrant” vs “expat” distinction. They might mean the same thing from a certain angle, but are very different in practice.
Fractional is part time when your charge >> $1000 per day.

@skinnylatte the poor people here are trying to work as many hours as possible to make more money. Part time is something that either single parents and students (because they have no alternative) or affluent people (because they can afford it) do. A certain type of men is very strongly going against it though independently of their own wealth.
