Once attended a relatively non-public talk by a legal expert on the court system reforms Blair was pushing.
At one point quotations from blair were cited that conjured the principles of UK's long constitutional history ... at which point the speaker couldn't help themselves and revealed that they were in the same cohort as Blair at law school and that he definitely was not the type to actually attend class and study that much.
"Public" thought leaders are essentially salespeople.
