As I do every time I post a Karmann Ghia, I will tell my Karmann Ghia story.
The Karmann Ghia was my mother's favorite car. She loved them, but she was practical, so while she loved the Karmann Ghia she ended up driving cars like the Honda Civic. No shade on the Civic, it was a great example of what it set out to be. But it never set out to be sexy.
I dreamed of buying a beat-up Karmann Ghia and restoring it, to give to her as a gift. But she died young, right when I was first starting my career. Before I had the kind of money you need to do such things.
So every time I see a Karmann Ghia, I think of her. Miss you, mom.

@geonz If a car looks fast, it feels fast. That's just science
-
@jalefkowit based on the Karmann Ghias I have seen, those low miles are normal because they can only be driven when theyβre working, and they never are

@lkanies They're called Adorable Car Alerts, not Reliable Car Alerts
