Our hotel room is accessible, but there isn't anything obvious about it unless you know what to look for, e.g. a raised toilet and the sink has room to roll under for a wheelchair user.

I needed to iron a shirt. The ironing board is good quality, but while using it, I was thinking "This board sure is low and kind of uncomfortable to use (I'm average height). It would almost be easier to use if I were sitting in a chair."
Just thought this was an interesting #accessibility story to share.

@jackbrewster it’s so funny. We’ve had an ‘ADA toilet’ for, like 15 years in all our bathrooms after we redid them. I forgot how insanely short normal toilets are. I’m 6’4” and I shouldn’t have to power squat to poop.

@octothorpe @jackbrewster Yeah, well, I shouldn’t have to climb Mount Porcelain.
