This is disturbing and horrifying, but I urge you to at least read the excerpt from the quoted post if you can stomach it. We need to understand what’s at stake when governments ban abortion. We need to understand how horrible the results are — not hypothetically, but right now, in Texas, in many places in the US.

A Pregnant Teenager Died After Trying to Get Care in Three Visits to Texas Emergency Rooms
It took 20 hours and three ER visits before doctors admitted the pregnant 18-year-old to the hospital as her condition worsened. She’s one of at least two women who died under Texas’ abortion ban.

MAGA killed this woman.
That’s the short of it. It’s not an exaggeration. It’s just the fact of the matter. And she’s not the only one.

I hope that people who support abortion bans see this photo. To be blunt: I think a lot of those people imagine that the people they kill are simply too Black or too poor to matter. A photo like this may be the only way they can •see• the people they hurt. That is not a kind thought, but I think it’s a true one.

And so many more untold -
@inthehands She was also a republican pro-life btw, they aren’t immune from the consequences of what the party has done to healthcare for women

So I assume you’re a perfect person. Don’t point the finger at those of us that are Christians and don’t believe in abortion. It’s terrible what happened but don’t make us all out to be the same. I wouldn’t vote for Harris for all the money in the world. -

So is it just me, or did you make this account entirely to talk about Donald Trump? And what makes you think any of this will be convincing to people who support continuing the democracy and oppose scapegoating minorities?

I’ve received several replies of the form “bAd DDOctors! Not MAGA’s faULT!!!”
Look, people:
Yes, doctors screwed up. But when the situation got really dire, the medical procedure that would have saved the life of Nevaeh Crain was an abortion.
The hospital delayed that — fatally — because they insisted on two ultrasounds to verify “fetal demise.”
They insisted because TX law pushed them to.
That TX law exists because of MAGA, Trump, and his SCOTUS judges.
It’s a pretty straight line.
