@danirabbit isn't it?! Honestly one of my favorites.
-
@killyourfm Aww should be ChimeraOS.
-
@fluke Not on the ROG Ally or Legion GO. Bazzite is hand-tuned for these devices. On something like the OneXPlayer, though, ChimeraOS is a perfect fit.
-
@killyourfm considering I am the person writing the kernel drivers for the Ally and X, and I'm on the ChimeraOS team (plus maintainer of asus stuff in kernel)...
I've put a *huge* amount of effort in to this https://gitlab.com/flukejones/linux/-/commits/asus-next-unstable?ref_type=heads

@fluke I apologize, then. Not trying to belittle your work in any way. My preference is based on both personal experience and Chimera's own compatibility info: https://chimeraos.org/hardware/.
(TDP controls are vital)

@killyourfm gyro is working, and TDP should also be - the *safe* and proper way to use TDP on asus devices is via the patches I have in progress.
Keep an eye out for future releases, we've been working intensely hard on many things.

@fluke I promise to keep an eye out, and I'd be eager to test things once those patches are implemented. Where does Chimera typically announce new releases?
