Yeah, but its like #Threads, you can't post stuff there through #federation, we only see their stuff.
They can't see anything other than likes.
Me and another tried to comment there but it was impossible. Similarly commenting on Threads, that won't work for any of us.

You can, I don't know if I agree with "easily". They don't use #hashtags and that's a good way to find stuff.

@shoppingtonz recent changes do hashtag posts from each comm with that comm's name, but I agree tags should be better utilized. This is why I originally developed the @tagginator

@shoppingtonz are you on mastodon or another software? I know for a fact you can both comment and post new threads on it from microblogging. I've done it from my account.

@shoppingtonz lemmy.dbzer0.com for sure. But pretty much any of them I tried (didn't work too well on mbin though) I can probably find some examples.
