I'm not really a fan of Harris. She's quite a bit to the right of me, and even to the political mainstream of my country.
But I still hope Trump loses. This is because 1. I think there is a much larger risk of the war a couple countries over from here scaling up rather dramatically if a Putin-friendly stooge gets in the white house, and 2. Trump is a climate change denialist.
To me, mitigating climate disaster and avoiding World War III are the most important issues at this moment.

(That, and reining in Silicon Valley.
But neither of the two on offer would realistically want to tackle that.)

Let me be clear: I don't think a Harris presidency would, on its own, "fix climate disaster" or "avoid World War III". Those two things are beyond the powers of the US president, whoever she or he may be.
But I do think a Trump presidency would *exacerbate* climate disaster and the risk of World War III. Because those are definitely *within* the powers of the US president.
