Mighty chieftain Bernon of the tribe of the Hults has had a special wooden throne with a hole in the seat built outside his house over a pit in the ground, where he can hold audiences with his subjects while he's taking a dump in the morning.
(This is the best time for an audience, because he usually isn't too drunk yet.)
