Hey not-men who talk in generalizations about how men are with each other: you ever stop to think that maybe you have no fucking idea what you're talking about?

I would never assume I know what women are like with each other because I have never had that experience.
But I am also completely unlike the men that I hear women talk about and, after a while, I start to feel like some secret third thing.
(Yes, I know enbys exist. I'm not that, either. I'm just a squishy man and I like it that way.)

Yes, I am subtooting something. No, I'm not going to link to it. Yes, I should probably tell this to the goats instead. No, I don't expect anyone to have empathy for the white-presenting man who has too many feelings. Yes, I think the lack of empathy extended to men is part of why they're so fucked up. No, I'm not going to run off and join a men's group about it. Yes, I'll end this here.

@fraying I've been thinking about how to respond to this since you posted it, but I think the best I can do is this: You (and I) don't have too many feelings. You have exactly the amount of feelings appropriate for this particular combination of your position and the subject matter.
Some of the conversations you refer to sometimes make me think I'm either a space alien, or that I am unable to actually perceive reality around me.
