25% of googles code is written by AI now? there is a catch here, whether that’s it being just templates, or not being code used in production, or just being code limited to some specific part of their stuff… or the code being unimportant…
Also unsurprising that a company with a stake in AI being hyped would try to say something like this… I just, it just feels like a lie, or a spin of the truth. Or maybe google is just really trivial?

@cafkafk another way I saw it put: if this were true in any meaningfully important way, the engineers would be saying it too, not just the CEO. Their silence and or cautious caveating speaks volumes.
