@mos_8502 Fingers crossed! I should do that, my old bench supply was cheap and nasty fifteen years ago, and it's only gotten cheaper and nastier since. The voltage adjust knob is unusably sensitive, just barely bump it and it'll swing from 3.3V to 4V or down to 2.5V without visibly moving. Ugh.

@danderson @mos_8502 obviously use cases depend, but (and it's a switcher) the OWON SPE3102 has served me pretty well... I also have a Tek PS2521G, which is a honking big linear job. It was actually made by GW-Instek, I believe.

@petrillic @mos_8502 Thanks for the tip! I've been tempted to crack mine open and fix it, I'm pretty sure the supply itself is solid and they just used cheap pots instead of nice 10-turn ones. Which, combined with probable gunking up from aging, makes the input control comical. But that also all sounds quite fixable, assuming the control circuitry is good...
