Alas, looks like I'm losing the fight with build123d today. We have reached a stalemate where the only outputs I'm able to produce are:
- Pegged CPU for 2min and a blank render with no errors reported
- Pegged CPU for 2min followed by "you didn't create any objects you imbecile"
- Big magenta square, but only 10s of high CPU this time so that's nice at least -
I got something else, but I think the CAD kernel is now giving me the finger.
I've checked, the operation I requested was "project this object onto the XY plane so I can haz a drawing", not "weirdly crush the 90 degree elbow on all my pins, flip me a bird using a copy of the pin template I didn't give you, and most importantly don't project anything, but do fuse the 3D assembly into one geometric katamari of wrongness and throw away all textures".
But that's clearly the function it's running.

@danderson I wish I could say I'm sorry, but I'm so amused that would be a lie.

@mos_8502 tbh I'm enjoying the slow descent into non-euclidean madness. You don't get very far in CAD if you don't accept that the math kernel hates your guts and is just looking for a reason to piledriver you. It's just probing the fence, looking for weakness.
