Typically self-hosting your #email is an exercise in frustration. The software is rock-solid, but old, difficult to configure, and very finicky.

The folks at [mailcow](https://docs.mailcow.email) have built a really nice self-hosted email server using #Docker containers. They've done a wonderful job of driving down the cost of self-hosting your email. It's free, and well worth a look.
