Been using the Zen web #browser more on the desktop together with the Sideberry extension. No idea why i'm sharing that but worth a try if looking for new browser setups.

@JackTheCat It's not blocking any ad blocking add ons (it's not chrome based). Also "Not blocking any ad-blocking ad-ons" is so an album title.

@emsquared I noticed that it still has the Firefox Labs AI options in settings so I think it's currently a UI mod on the standard Firefox core if that's a concern.

@simon Yeah. I knew it was a Firefox mod. Just without the advert laden stuff they're getting into. It is getting harder these days. I was using a de-googled chromium prior to this. Obviously there are browsers decoupled from either (chrome or firefox) out there i you can live without plugins and extensions.

True, I tried Waterfox again briefly, but there are a couple of things it doesn't do that are useful so I'm back with stock Firefox again. I'm quite boring about UI so I probably won't change unless things get worse. -

@simon Yes. You can only take the least worst option. Have tried both Librewolf and Floorp (incl Firedragon) which again are each built on Firefox.
