(It still needs locked accounts to be 1:1.)
If your experience with Twitter consisted a lot of Wishing Things Were Different, the Fediverse is a better fit for you.
That's how I've interpreted people's opinioms so far.

@soatok yep, totally agree. Bluesky's a much better "Twitter replacement" than anything on fedi today. But a "Twitter replacement" is (by definition) going to recapitulate the problematic stuff from Twitter as well as the good stuff ... and there are lots of other kinds of social networking to explore.

@thenexusofprivacy @soatok Mastodon is like Twitter before the algorithm. People who were on Twitter in the early days would be right at home here.
Bluesky is like Twitter after it got big. That's why it's so much more familiar to the masses.
