Fellow ADHD folk, I highly recommend getting an oven that turns itself off after a timer passes.

@mahryekuh my brain switches to hyper focus mode and it’d stop sending heartbeat signals to the pump rather than the oven duty.

@mahryekuh I have a mini-oven that looks and works like an old microwave. It has almost the same size, has the same wheels to regulate time and heat, dings when it's over and turns off by itself. Haven't carbonized a pizza in months now
PS: Can confirm, hot oven does in fact burn, even if small.

@mahryekuh Also something funny about my ADHD brain is that I have a pretty accurate internal clock for timers, but I don't have the alarm feature, so I may forget and end up with overcooked pasta.

@mahryekuh We are currently shopping around for induction hob ovens because gas hobs are ACTUALLY FIRE IN YOUR KITCHEN and I regularly forget to turn them off...
