Do I know people who rely on #Flarum for their community? I'm interested in feedback in terms of performance, moderation, and mailing-list-like features.
Boosts welcome for visibility

@thibaultamartin let me know if you have any specific questions.
As for performance, here's a community with 30+ million posts hosted on the managed hosting service: https://forum.mutluanneleriz.com/

@luceos thanks for sharing!
The two things I’m primarily after that I couldn’t find in the docs are:
- What are the moderation tools? Is there a moderation dashboard? Does the hosting provider has built in capabilities (eg a built in denylist of known bad actors)?
- Is it possible to use Flarum in mailing list mode? How flexible is it (eg can I subscribe to a single section, or subscribe to everything and opt out of a section)? Can I reply by email? -
- a moderation dashboard does not exist, but has been talked about. There's a centralized bell system where all moderative tasks are gathered though and plenty of moderative tools exist to make the life of moderating easier
- a global deny/allow list does not yet exist, but I have had that in consideration for a hosting-agnostic solution through flarum.org
- there's no quick solution to use flarum as mailing list, although this extension exists: https://flarum.org/extension/blomstra/email-conversations
