Oh good, it’s morning in Spain so it’s back to “this bill in another person’s name dated for after you left the apartment is your responsibility because the gas company totally said it was, trust me bro”. Like it’s so ridiculous.
-
I keep saying “show me a bill, with my name on it, from Endesa” and she just keeps saying… nothing, really. Like I can’t make it more clear.
Fucking scummy ass landlord and agency companies. Fuck off trying to get money from me. -
@aud Similar nonsense went on in Dublin 20 years ago. Phone, gas, electricity bills were all over the place. It was absurd.
"Two bills with your name and address" counted as identification.
I hope you get it sorted with minimal stress.
-
But like honestly, if your “hello” is a threat to go to the police, all you’ve done is annoy me and make me not trust you because you’re starting out with threats. Fuck off with that.
-
@[email protected] honestly, at this rate I’ll just have to block her. I’m not paying shit unless I have an actual bill from the actual energy company. Which they don’t seem to have. So.
-
@aud yeas... around here you have to fist fight a lot of these kind of matters... also don't forget that if that contract is abusive (it only needs to have an ilegal clause or something that is not correct) you can denounce it and the landlord will be fined....
And as well, there are public lawyers! If needed I can try to find the number, but there are public lawyers you can call to ask for legal advice/help (those are actually on your side) -
@aud fuck landlords
-
@[email protected] they keep saying I need to fix this and I’m like no. Literally no.
-
@[email protected] I mean, she’s already said she’s going to the cops now. what is she even going to do? Show them a bill with someone else’s name and a pinky swear that actually, I’m supposed to pay it? Go for it, I guess. My bank has no record of any “returned transactions” (it does have a big fucking charge I paid to them), I can’t access the Endesa app because I’m not in Spain and no longer have a Spanish phone number, but she keeps saying “oh, you could just check the app and then you’d see”, but even if I COULD, she has a real fucked up view about how claiming I owe them money works.
-
@[email protected] FINALLY after threatening me TWICE with taking it to the police she’ll call the energy company to get them to send me an email. Which I will probably never receive since Endesa seems to be not great at this (I have literally never once received an email from them).
-
@[email protected] also after her latest threat to call the police I got frustrated and sent messages in English and she said she won’t translate them. I have been translating that entire conversation and UGH.
