I made another thing: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/ui-sounds/
Way back in January, a post by @PepperTheVixen requested a Firefox version of a Chrome extension that plays sounds for specific tab events. The code was public, but had no open source license. I asked the maintainer for permission to port it and received no reply, but the code was released under the MIT license a month later, which I only noticed this week. So here's my port of it now. Better late than never.

️ Info ping for @FreakyFwoof (thanks for the permission to redistribute your sounds!), @jstark, and @kristinHenry (who AFAIR boosted the original post that got me involved in this).

@julian I must admit, I had completely forgotten about this conversation. Thank you so much for porting this over. I'm giving it a try now. I can't seem to get the sound toggles to work, but I can now hear when the page updates. It makes things so much easier to navigate :blobhaj_heart:

@PepperTheVixen I'm happy it's still useful to you! And I'm noticing what you're experiencing, it seems the individual toggles are not working reliably. For now, setting the volume of a specific sound to 0 should be a workaround, but I'll also try to fix that bug and upload a new version.

@PepperTheVixen Okay, the toggles should be fixed with version 1.1.3, which should arrive on your device the next time Firefox auto-updates the extension.
