I bought a silicone liner with a ribbed base for my halogen oven, to use in place of a metal dish. The reason was to have a non-stick surface.

On first attempt the croissants were pretty badly overcooked. Easily fixed the next time but it was a surprise to find that cooking time is reduced by 25%.

A very big and unexpected saving in electricity.
