One thing I noticed immediately about the Kasa app is that they don't advertise their products in the app. There's no shopping section or anything like that. It just configures the devices you own, which is nice.

@jnv I used to use Eufy a bit, but then they did some serious shady stuff and I swore to never use them again.

@CliffWade @jcrabapple It's hard to find local recording and good value. There are always stories about these products but I had to get away from Ring.
