Currently I'm using various search engines to find results. I think the future will be better with search handled this way. I love finding results in blogs and other resources.
As you mentioned, many use Google and Bing as their backend. The results are not good when it comes to everything. This isn't the old days of Google 1998 when we were trying to get everyone and their dog to use Google without being laughed at
