Fedora KDE Plasma Mobile Spin
Built on the foundations of KDE Plasma Desktop, the Fedora KDE Plasma Mobile Spin brings its flexibility to a mobile form factor. Although originally geared towards phones, the touch friendly interface works very well on tablets and 2-in-1 laptops.

@vwbusguy does it support virtual keyboards for whole disk encryption passwords yet? Yes I had an interesting experience last time

@letoams Yeah, the TL;DR is it *might* be possible use use a NitroKey or YubiKey instead of password for LUKS, but I don't know of any plymouth compatible framebuffer based virtual keyboard option. It might exist - I just don't know about it if it does.
Full disk encryption on a tablet device

@vwbusguy that sounds as tricky and also needs a usb port. I have some old tablet PC. It does have a usb so I didnβt get stuck

@letoams I'm wondering if it might make more sense if we had some kind of Kinoite Mobile option where the signed image itself is unencrypted, but the RW volumes can somehow get unencrypted later on in the process when there's a GUI server available, sort of like how Android does this.

Plasma Mobile on Librem 5
I tried installing Plasma Mobile with instructions on Install Plasma Mobile link. But it did not work. Has anybody tried installing Plasma Mobile on Librem 5? Was the attempt successful?

@letoams And postmarket's Plasma presents a virtual keyboard for decryption:

So, it seems theoretically possible.
