@sendtherunners winter conditions around #Ottawa have been poor in recent years. Canal has not opened for 2 years. Looks like a green Christmas this year.

@stephanie @sendtherunners I feel that was a performative opening, not a functional opening. If there aren't >25 digits lost to frostbite, in aggregate, then it's not really opened.
