The recipe is my mother-in-law's and is called Spudnuts (they have mashed potatoes mixed into the dough).

We've been making them for over a decade.

I'm a strong yes. It's fun; it connects me to family and heritage; my household loves to eat baked treats; and they make easy, welcome gifts for friends and neighbors. I'd highly recommend it to anyone celebrating the winter holidays.
