Hey @mike have you considered having someone from the @matrix Foundation or @element on your podcast? Perhaps @matthew?
I'm curious about the opportunities for coordination in the open social web between Matrix Protocol and Activity Pub. Any idea who is currently exploring this?
Seems like IOT app interactivity could be a thing to look at for example. Or secure DMs and group chats tied to social apps in the metaverse? Or even @Flipboard?
Maybe @evan has some insights here.

@monkeyflower @mike @matrix @element @Flipboard @evan always happy to talk matrix <-> AP. the protocols are complementary, imo - Matrix is specifically for realtime e2ee comms, just as AP is essentially for microblogging.

Thanks for the reply Matthew. Excited about what y'all have been working on. I try to onboard more people to Matrix and Element every day.
Would love to see matrix integrated as an encrypted messaging experience directly in fediverse apps like @Mastodon. Do you know of anyone working on this idea?
