RFF is entering maintenance/sunset mode. We've helped empower, amplify and motivate the music community within the Fediverse by celebrating artist consent and agency, direct support, and promoting quality sounds. If you've participated along the way, you can be proud of the gauntlet we've thrown down for community and vibes and the discovery, collaboration and support fomented. We'll accept music submissions until mid-Dec and the station will power down in Jan 2025. 1/ #radioFreeFedi

I love the idea: A community radio playing music from independent fediverse artists. I admit, I've been skeptical about what kind of quality to expect – but that was before tuning in for the first time.
It's been amazing listening to the music and discovering awesome and inspiring artists.
