@drewdevault yeah! our default font has really good coverage too! might be some teething issues as we get into people's very diverse libraries, but shouldn't be anything we can't fix

@jacqueline nice! Does it work well with metadata encoded in, say shift-jis too?

@drewdevault hmmm probably depends on the file format i think. i reckon we barf on it in a couple of places. our approach generally is to normalise to utf-8 on ingestion.
