seriously: fuck the FSF.

it's nothing but a toadying lackey club for odious shitheels. it has repeatedly demonstrated an inability to deal with serious (veering into criminal) misconduct and it needs to be discarded. any laudable ideals they once espoused are an academic footnote in contrast to the actual function they embody in practice.

there's no defending them. beyond obvious moral failings that transcend the technical underpinnings of their movement, by acting as a haven for abusers and abusive behaviour they systematically excluded diverse voices in FOSS for *decades*, and that damage will never be undone.
