So now that Germany legalized total public surveillance and police data hoarding, how do we protect ourselves against it?

@Natanox Apparently the council saved our asses, temporarily.
"Sicherheitspaket" scheitert in Teilen am Bundesrat
Das vom Bundestag kurz zuvor verabschiedete "Sicherheitspaket" ist im Bundesrat teilweise gescheitert. Innenministerin Faeser nannte das "verantwortungslos". Das abgelehnte Gesetz sah mehr Befugnisse für die Sicherheitsbehörden vor.

Those who voted in favour of this GeStaPo mindfuck urgently need to be removed from the legislation of a democracy they obviously seek to destroy.

@[email protected] Terrorism worked to get it, maybe it'd work against it as well?

@Saupreiss Oh, they will for sure. Next chancellor will be far-right or even extreme. This is like a perfect precursor they made right now. And even though our Landeskammer blocked it just now, they did so because it's *not enough*.

@mort Don't expect our security clowns to know /s means satire. I wouldn't write something like this anymore.
But I get you. They're destroying democracy and actively encourage extremism of all kinds with these laws.

@wonka They just learned that with enough pressure even the highest EU court will eventually buckle - not like our government ever gave a shit about citizen rights when it came to surveillance. I think Pandoras Box has opened by now.
