I want a professional #anime with a bunch of girls living in dorm rooms next to each other studying IT, but each one of them is the mascot of a different #Linux distro with fitting characters.

Their adversaries are big outside corporations who want to buy the university and make them pay tuition fees! They even try to manipulate the students! Ubu-chan and Red-chan are constantly suspected to work for them.
Professors are of course well respected senseis Torvalds and Stallman. And that new oneβ¦

Tanenbaum-sensei is always shown as a chibi and there is a plethora of "micro" jokes.

@wakame @ceresbzns Opensuse-chan always leaping around casually, unless she's tired, then she's just tumbling.
Arch-chan always scolds everyone for not knowing something and wants to do everything herself.
Fedora-chan has tons of cats that look weirdly similar to her. And a hat. Her bigger sister works for the uni.
Slackware-chan rarely comes out of her room. Mystery has it she's not left the uni since last millennia.
And Mint-chan is just a popular, friendly dork.

@Natanox @wakame @ceresbzns Debian-chan has a massive collection of 80s and 90s toys. She does things slowly but carefully.
FreeBSD-san is a postgrad who the Linux girls look up to and respect. She acts like she wants nothing to do with them but would secretly like to be friends.
Ghost-chan is FreeBSD-san's younger sister. She's a cheerful goth who loves ghosts, spiders, and Hallowe'en.

@[email protected] Sign me up. Except the part about Stallman. Not sure if he should be the "good guy" in all that... Considering he has questionable takes about certain "topics".

@wakame @Natanox @ceresbzns Mageia-chan really wants people to notice her. She performs magic tricks, dresses in flashy but elegant but sexy clothes, and pulls the kind of stunts and hacks for which the MIT AI lab is famous. Nobody ever notices her.

@wakame @Natanox @ceresbzns Kali-chan is a ninja who doesn't have a room of her own, but always stays the night with someone else. She's excellent at finding lost things, and is always breaking into places she shouldn't be.

Kali-chan: "The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear."
Ubuntu-chan, throwing a pillow at her: "I can hear you breathe from over here. Go to sleep already!" :blobfoxannoyed:
