Remarkable that there is no single social liberal party in Germany.

@m There is no non-conservative party with power in Germany if you ask me. Die Linke might be somewhat, they completely fucked themselves up too much though with their (former?) flirts with authoritarianism - mostly Russia.
Pretty ironic those flirters now got a new party everyone talks about while the ruins they left behind are still struggling.

@[email protected] @[email protected] @[email protected] Unfortunatly, their more recent manifesto does not really read any better. They improved a lot, but there is still stuff in there that is very "russia-friendly" including some russian propaganda like "NATO expansionism". (BTW: That can be criticized but you cannot say "NATO expansionism" without noting why countries suddenly wanted to join NATO)

@hannah @m @benny I know, their anti-NATO nonsense is just idiotic. Not just because of the "why", but also since it's an inherent authocratic / imperialistic viewpoint of talking about NATO as one entity instead of multiple independent entities that decided by themselves to join the defense pact. It boils down to the "USA as imperialistic superpower controlling everyone else in the 'deep state'" idea.
Most ironic how, once again, Russia projects what they are / want on others.
