@james eh, I'm non-partisan, a big fan of both! Takes a long time to build good apps and services on these open protocols.

@js I guess I’m interested to understand the business model of BlueSky - which has raised $8m from investors. Typically, investors invest in a company with the expectation of a payback, rather than just give them money. That gives me some cause for alarm.
The future is probably a Threads-like federation. But hopefully full federation, not the piecemeal thing we have now.
