As a rule, I hate shaky-cam, but I give the Star Trek franchise a pass. It doesn't take away from the scenes it is in, and it's never used to hide anything more than their limited budgets.

@allenstenhaus Yeah, it's just an inexpensive way to add visual interest to an otherwise static scene. Kind of the sci-fi version of the infamous Aaron Sorkin Walk & Talk
