@TheJen You say "virtual staging" and my mind goes to them putting drapes on the monitor and placing a plate of cookies in front of the keyboard, although, that might be more like "remote staging."
So is virtual staging realtors photoshopping fun stuff into pictures of the room or is it letting clients dress rooms up virtually?

@acrousey The former. I haven't dug into it, but it appears there is now software that allows you to dress the room inside a photograph and it is so cringe I can't.

@TheJen @acrousey I have at least seen it disclosed on some sites (via Zillow but not sure if it is a Zillow thing or not) and the better realtors using it show a photo of the full space as it is currently and then a virtually staged version (in some cases I’ve seen this is used to show how it could be renovated - which I think is somewhat acceptable IF clearly disclosed - ie this is what could be possible here which many people have trouble visualizing.
But many cases are as you say cringe
