[looks at the Carlton-Brisbane score]
Melbourne seems to be a market not large enough to support enough quality AFL sides and some need to be merged
-
@liamvhogan carlton and Collingwood seem close
-
@franksting @liamvhogan how very dare you
-
@emmadavidson @liamvhogan i suppose north and carlton are closer and are both perennially shite and have similar colours
-
@franksting @emmadavidson @liamvhogan I am in favour of each city having just one team. Merge all the Melbourne-based teams into one and send the other franchises to different places. Who's do say we shouldn't have the Jerilderie Tigers or the Karratha Kangaroos?

@trib @franksting @liamvhogan I think the Jerilderie Demons would have some concerns about ditching their current dark blue and white colours to take on the Tigers colours

@emmadavidson @franksting @liamvhogan then we move Carlton there. Given you're from the area, you can pick who Urana gets.

@trib @franksting @liamvhogan oh boy. This could get very complicated. Allegiances between big Catholic families and various small towns and their Melbourne team allegiances may result in farms having to be sold so people can move to the town matching their colours.

@emmadavidson @trib @franksting if Balmain and Campbelltown between themselves can be ‘Wests’. HTFU IMO
