I need your opinion @NewtonMark as to whether the chief of the Air Force is a) right to be concerned or b) a huge sooky baby

@NewtonMark IMO if the Australian public is going to be on the hook for hugely expensive fighters we need to see them do tricks. Which goes for all the fancy kit we buy
And that’s why I’m proposing the Parramatta Road Mach Loop. Vote [1] Liam

@liamvhogan @NewtonMark There are many challenges of this role

@liamvhogan @NewtonMark no, he’s right to be alarmed. What the fuck is a F-35 doing FLYING?! They’re supposed to never leave the tarmac under threat of immediate self-immolation.
-
@Taco_lad @NewtonMark you’ll say, aren’t there two flight paths to the airport that cross Parramatta Road? I say yes but with proper coordination and the stunt flyers going low enough we can get C-17s and the like doing barrel rolls over Haberfield

@liamvhogan @Taco_lad @NewtonMark More planes. More upside down. More often.
-
@liamvhogan I doubt he’s actually concerned. This seems like fighter manoeuvring training, right? How else is the RAAF supposed to train dogfighting?
-
@NewtonMark @liamvhogan You know that the Geneva Convention forbids noisy aerial combat above areas where where it might affect:
1) Vacationers
2) Property values
Right?
-
@allrite @NewtonMark my Parramatta Road Mach Loop policy is in line with my more general ‘increase 24 hour strong noise emitters near Haberfield’ policy
