Today is Melbourne Cup Day, one of the four public holidays in Victoria celebrating the state religion of Sport (MC Day - horse racing, Boxing Day - cricket, Australia Day - tennis, AFL GF Day - footy).

NSW's state religion of Property Values also deserves public holidays. I propose Open Day and Auction Day.

(We already get Boxing Day and Australia (Invasion) Day off).

@allrite I have proposed Bathurst 1000 day as NSW’s equivalent but mostly I just want more public holidays
