I had my old company register a .io for a digital product as a placeholder to issue certs for it.I don't think it was ever actually used, and it expires next year, so I'm just imagining the chaos when the poor shlump whose job it is to keep track of these things (a) finds it's unrenewable, and (b) tries to contact me…
