Sadly, I think it's photoshopped. But ten minutes in Maryland will show you just how true it is to attitudes there. People love their crab, and their Old Bay.

I've encountered counter advertisement when first I visited the states, it was a mock Christian group that protested against Amstel beer. I took a picture of it, in the time were you had only 36 in a roll.
I only later realized that it was in fact an advertisement from Amstel itself. Quite effectieve at that.
So I could believe this to be an actual advertisement, certainly with bigotry in the southern states being this high.
