How to migrate forum data from PHP to NodeBB?

Hello guys! I am pretty new to NodeBB and have been trying to moving old forum from PHP to NodeBB. Does anyone have any advices/tips/suggestions on how to do this? Anything would be gratefully appreciated. Thank you.

@frontendjulien you can look at the import plugin, if you have the skills.

Otherwise you can try to contact Lincoln from Nitro Porter, he can possibly help you out.

We brought over our data from PHPBB, which has fallen way behind. We can write something up about how we approached the project.

It's been awhile, and it only imports a forum to an older version of NodeBB, but upgrading afterwards is pretty straightforward.

Otherwise I would still recommend contacting Lincoln Russell to see if he's interested in helping you out.
