how to get posts on the landing page?

Hi - until I build a bigger audience I'd like to have my landing page filled with posts like hacker news

anyone know how to achieve this for shopperslove.com

Hey @rodclarke, what kind of news source are you planning to use? It might be possible to create a widget to consume an RSS feed, for example...

thanks Julian - No news source It will be created by users I was just wanting the posts on the landing page

Hm... you could always use the "Recent Topics" widget and place it in the MOTD -- that will allow you to show the latest threads on the front page.

You could also use this plugin to manually pick threads to feature, or possibly use this plugin to override the main homepage.
