node metrics VS google analytics metrics

Hi all!!

I have installed and configured the google analytics plugin time ago on our node 1.6 website and I would like to know why the metrics reported by nodebb main dashboard about unique visitors are so different tham the Google Analytics looks like.

is normal this behaviour?

Its like 19k visitors on last 30 days on the nodebb metrics against 9k visitors on Google Analytics.

Would be nice to have some light on this.

Can be caused by crawler bots? Seems that GA filter those visits.
How can we mitigate that on node metrics?
