Amazon S3 storage prices are lowered up to 22%: All Amazon S3 standard storage and Reduced Redundancy Storage (RRS) customers will see a reduction in their storage costs. In the US Standard region, we are lowering S3 standard storage prices up to 22%, with similar price reductions across all other regions. The new lower prices can be found on the Amazon S3 pricing page.

Now is a great time to add S3 functionality to NodeBB, with the lower prices and all nudge nudge

I think there is a one year free trial for aws with the free tier.

Any progress on this? Lack of S3 support is a show stopped for me. Not even worth installation. The reason being that this is one of the major issues on my server now, lack of disk space for uploads.

@djensen47 Yup. @baris revamped the uploader system two days ago so that it uses hooks. Someone (*cough cough*) just needs to write a plugin to upload to S3 now.

Maybe I'll hit up @chris for his credentials
